"Leadership is to sense and to actualize emerging realities”

Joseph Jaworski

In my job, I coach boards of directors, managers and their management teams in realizing their ambitions. I’m excited when I can help individuals and organizations realize their (sometimes hidden) potential. For the client, I’m usually a sounding board and coach. Customer feedback suggests that I can effectively guide change programmes ‘with an unseen hand’.

  • Putting together the management team, repositioning the department and developing the strategy of the Corporate Internal Audit department for a multinational;
  • Individual coaching of senior executives and members of the board of directors;
  • Developing and facilitating ‘Leadership Workshops’ for the Top 350 of an international bank;
  • Coaching the board of directors in setting up the SouthSouthNorth Project (http://www.southsouthnorth.org/). The purpose of the project is to have a positive and sustainable effect on climate change in the southern hemisphere and the fight against poverty.

CV: Advising and Developing

After graduating in psychology, I have been a partner, consultant and facilitator at CORDES since 1992. Having led the consultancy for several years, I have now returned my attention to the latest developments in the field. I acquired most of my experience in the private sector but recently I have been spending more time on healthcare and international joint ventures. The complexity of the work appeals to me.

Private life: To be one with the water and the wind

I’ve been sailing races all my life. On a few occasions, I actually succeeded in predicting the direction of the wind, which gave me the world title in the Flying Dutchman class. Since then, I’ve been striving for moments of ‘Presence’: being one with your surroundings and sensing what the future will bring.
