When I’m working with people during a coaching session or a training course, I like to focus on analysing the solution instead of diagnosing the problem. The best solution can then come from an attitude of “don’t know” and trusting to what is already available.

Since 1997, I have been combining my work as a state-registered psychotherapist at the Westfriesland Municipal Healthcare centre in Hoorn with training and coaching work at Cordes. Solution-oriented work is my greatest source of inspiration but systemic analysis (organization and family units) and mindfulness are closely related.

Private life: moving and being moved

In both rowing (C4) and yoga, I enjoy the balance between exertion and relaxation: rowing alternates between the two while yoga combintes them. There’s also great pleasure in doing and learning things together.
